Corner of Portage and Main??

Ha ha ha! No, it's not even close to Manitoba but this is what my car looked like on Tuesday in Calgary during a real blast of Winter weather...sorta seems fitting for hockey watching!

We have a really good shot tonight at getting our game sorted out and back on the winning track against the visiting San Jose Sharks. I hope the crowd at the MTS Centre will be EXTRA loud to welcome home our team...sure they had only a single win in 4 road games but we have to ensure that we keep the throttles maxed out to keep our Jets headed for the post season...every point matters, every night!

Hope it is warm inside where you will hopefully be catching the game tonight...GO JETS GO!!!!

Happy 2012 to all of my fellow Winnipeg Jets fans! I still get goosebumps from time to time when it hits me that we really truly did get our team back last year and this isn't all some long, drawn out mass delusion! I know we will have a great second half of a season and maybe, just maybe we can cap off this fantastic past 12 months with a run into the Stanley Cup Playoffs...just look at all the other big dreams we have seen some to pass recently!

We have a couple of days to get our cheering voices all rested up for the back to back games between Montreal and Toronto later this week. Perhaps if we all cheer as loud and proud as the great fans in the MTS Centre do for home games then maybe just maybe the boys will be able to hear our thunder on the road!
